Spring Lovin'

Now that spring is in full force I decided to POLYVORE an outfit. This would definitely be an outfit I would wear to meet up with a friend for coffee or lunch. Super cool and feminine at the same time with a touch of boho.

This outfit I created perfectly sums up what you could catch me in this spring!
I am absolutely obsessed with this topshop dress. Unfortunately it is sold out in stores and online which is very upsetting. Can we also take a minute to adore these Miu Miu frames? If only I could get my hands on a pair of those!!!

Spring OOTD Ft. Silence and Noise Romper

I never used to be a fan of rompers, in fact I found them unattractive and uncomfortable.
However, I came across a pair that I instantly fell in love with. It is from urban outfitters from the silence and noise line.

They are made from a soft cotton material and are extremely comfortable. I rarely wear anything loose for my bottoms as I am constantly wearing skinny jeans. I thought I would change it up a bit in my closet and welcome a comfy romper into my closet.

For this outfit I dressed the romper down with a cozy vintage cardigan and my classic patent oxfords.

This outfit is perfect for the spring days when it is starting to get warmer but still is a bit nippy out.

SPRING IS HERE

I am ecstatic because the weather has been sunny as ever lately!
Spring has always been exciting for me because I like to see it as a fresh start. A lot has been changing lately in my life and I am so looking forward to a new beginning.

I have been loving whites and light material combinations lately. People say that I wear too much black which I agree to a certain extent. This spring I will be playing with some more colours and lighter materials! Here is a post I made on polyvore of a look I am loving lately.

Scroll down to see how I styled one of my favourite Urban Outfitters dresses from the line "Ecote" as well as my latest YouTube video.

Darker Than Most Days

Today I felt a tad bit darker than most.
On those days, I love to dress head to toe in black.
Black can easily look repetitive especially with the same textures.
When I wear black I try to mix and match the textures so I create dimension.

BLACK BOOTS

There is nothing I love more than a black boot.
Winter, fall, summer, spring, rain, snow or sunshine I will always be wearing a boot. I believe it is mainly due to the fact that I hate feet and because they give me a couple inches.

Lately, my boot collection has been growing because I am seeing such killer boots and must have them in my life. I made a video with my favourite black boots and thought it would be worthwhile to share with you all the lovely boots I have collected, thus far.

I would say I have a wide range with the prices of my boots. Ranging from Forever 21 to Alexander Wang, there might be something in there for ya! Let me know which boot you liked the best.

I thought I would include my video of my entire boot collection that was filmed around a year ago.

OOTW/VLOGGING

Last week I documented my life with my trustee Canon T3I rebel.
I included video content of my outfits as well as my daily life.
I find my audience enjoys seeing bits of my life here and there.

Looking back a these outfits I'm realizing a consistency with the clothing.
I seem to really enjoy wearing something patterned along with a simple pieces.
A lot of my outfits have some thrift inspired piece included.

Shout outs to my lovely American Apparel easy jean that I've been wearing pretty much everyday.

Treat YO Self

From the very famous quote from parks and rec, "treat yo self", I thought I would share with you all what I like to do when I get some "me" time (which has lately been close to never).

I have found that I am an extrovert yet am so equally an introvert. I love being alone more than anything, yet at times I love to feed off of other peoples energy. I guess it depends on my mood. Ugh, moods. When I do feel introverted I grab myself a lush bubble bar/bomb and head to the bath tub.

I question why I have JUST caught onto the LUSH craze... It is AMAZING. Oh my poor poor wallet. Despite the big bucks that do add up, I feel as soft as a babies bum whenever I have finished a lush bath and the experience is magical, so I guess it is worth it. Whenever I have had a stressful day I pop into the bath alongside a magazine and my iPhone. That's all I really need.

Here are a couple of my favourite lush products!

Sunny Side Bubble Bar: super glitzy!!!

A French Kiss Bubble Bar: for when you are needing a soothing pick me up!

Granny Takes A Dip Bath Bomb: such a blissful experience.

BUNS

I love this look, I call it "the bun thing". Not only are girls rocking buns, but boys also. We can finally say goodbye to sock buns because MAN buns are the latest craze. I have never been a fan of the whole sock bun trend, its too perfect and perfect is boring. I love "the bun thing" because it doesn't matter if it looks messy or if a couple strands are flying from each direction of your face.

I love rocking this do because I feel like a samurai boy, like Lea Salonga from Mulan.

Studio Lights

I promised myself this new year that I would dedicate more of my time towards my YouTube channel. I find it difficult to film videos when the sun goes down at such an early time. By the time I get home from either school, work or my internship it is pitch dark outside which means zero natural lighting. With that being said, I invested my money towards getting some studio lights. I am very pleased with the quality of my lights and cannot wait to start filming some more videos.
